I am loving the benefits of kombucha at the moment! Kombucha is a fermented drink of sweetened black or green tea and has countless benefits but it is renowned for promoting good gut health. Check out some of the main benefits to drinking Kombucha…

1.Helps your digestive system

Kombucha is full of probiotics which help maintain a healthy balance of bacteria in the gut. Drinking Kombucha regularly can aid with successful digestion and overcome other issues such as constipation, acid reflux and other digestive problems.

2. Gives you a natural energy boost

If you’re trying to cut out the large quantities of caffeine, Kombucha is perfect for a little pick me up due to its black or green tea elements.

3. Keeps your appetite satisfied between meals.

The acid in Kombucha has been proven to delay stomach emptying – keeping you fuller for longer.

4. Helps your hair, skin and nails.

Glucosamine is a by-product of Kombucha. Glucosamine is associated with the product of collagen (an important component of healthy skin, nails and hair). Research has also proven that Kombucha can help slow down the ageing process due to healthy cell regeneration and consequently glowing skin!

One of the best things about Kombucha is that it’s simple and easy to make at home!
